Dr. Shamte Juma Kawambwa is a Lecturer at the College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT), University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). He holds a PhD in Computer and IT System Engineering, an MSc in Electronics Engineering and IT, and a BSc in Electronics Science and Communication, all from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Since joining UDSM, Dr. Kawambwa has served in various academic and administrative roles, including Final Year Project Coordinator in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. In this capacity, he oversees undergraduate project design, seminars, evaluation tools, and laboratory sessions. He currently serves as the Undergraduate Coordinator at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, where he oversees all undergraduate  academic activities for the department. 

As a lecturer, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Hardware Interfacing Techniques, PC Interfacing Techniques, Solid State Electronics, Industrial Electronics, and Embedded Systems Engineering. His teaching emphasizes practical experimentation, innovation, and problem-driven approaches to electronics and ICT applications.
